Large format stone paving terrace beside a pool

Decking and paving that stays flat.

Decking and paving Dubai work where the sub-base, falls and drainage are done properly — the reason some terraces still look new after five summers.

Outdoor Living · Surfaces

Most paving failures happen below the surface

Rocking slabs, standing water and cracked joints almost always come from the same thing: a base that was too thin, too poorly compacted or laid without falls. The surface material rarely fails first.

We excavate, compact and lay to a designed fall away from the villa, with drainage where the run is long or the ground is flat. Movement joints go where the area demands them, because thermal expansion across a large Dubai terrace is significant.

Paving being laid — compacted sub-base and levelling

Surfaces we lay

Terraces, pool surrounds, driveways, paths and roof decks.

Porcelain paving

Large-format outdoor porcelain — dimensionally stable, low absorption, fade resistant and easy to clean.

Natural stone

Travertine, limestone, granite and basalt, sealed appropriately and laid with correct joints.

Composite decking

Wood-plastic composite boards on an aluminium sub-frame — the most practical decking here, with minimal upkeep.

Hardwood decking

Genuine hardwood where the look justifies the maintenance, with ventilation beneath and regular oiling.

Pool surrounds and coping

Non-slip, low-heat surfaces laid to fall away from the water, with coping detailed to the pool edge.

Driveways and parking

Interlock, cobble or heavy-duty porcelain on a base built for vehicle loading.

Steps and level changes

Formed steps, ramps and retaining edges with consistent risers and drainage at the base.

Drainage

Channel drains, point gullies and soakaways to keep water off the terrace and away from the building.

Surface choice for Dubai

Barefoot comfort and glare matter as much as durability.

Surface temperature

Dark paving can become too hot to walk on. Lighter tones and shaded zones make a measurable difference.

Slip resistance

Around pools and water features the finish must stay non-slip when wet — polished stone is the wrong choice there.

Thermal movement

Large terraces need movement joints. Without them, cracking along the longest run is only a matter of time.

Sand and cleaning

Fine sand accumulates in wide, rough joints. Joint width and material affect cleaning effort more than owners expect.
