Pool tiling and resurfacing.
Pool tiling Dubai that starts under the tile — stripping the old finish, re-tanking the shell and testing it before new mosaic goes anywhere near the water.
Tiles come off for a reason — find it first
Waterline tiles debond, mosaic sheets lift and plaster finishes stain. Sometimes it is age; often it is a waterproofing failure beneath, movement in the shell, or years of unbalanced water chemistry eating the grout.
We strip the old finish, inspect and repair the shell, re-tank and pressure test, then retile. Skipping straight to new mosaic over a compromised substrate gets you the same failure in two years, with the cost of draining and refilling paid twice.
What pool tiling covers
Full retiling and targeted repairs.Strip-out and inspection
Removing the failed finish and assessing the shell, fittings and waterproofing beneath.
Structural repair
Crack repair and spalled concrete reinstatement before any finish is applied.
Re-waterproofing
Cementitious tanking to the shell with pressure testing before tiling.
Glass mosaic tiling
Full-pool mosaic in blends chosen for water colour and reflection.
Ceramic and porcelain
Larger-format pool-rated tiling where a plainer finish is wanted.
Waterline tiling
Replacing just the waterline band where the rest of the finish is sound — the most common targeted repair.
Quartz plaster finishes
Aggregate plaster resurfacing as an alternative to full tiling.
Coping replacement
Renewing cracked or slippery coping and detailing the junction to the deck.

How the work runs
Inspection
Pool assessed drained or partly drained to establish the cause of failure.
Quotation
Strip-out, repair, tanking and finish priced as one scope.
Strip-out and repair
Old finish removed, shell repaired.
Tanking and testing
Waterproofing applied, cured and tested.
Tiling and refill
New finish laid, grouted, then fill, balance and handover.
Only the waterline band failing? That is often a targeted repair rather than a full retile.

Pool tiling questions.
Often yes, if the rest of the finish is sound and the failure is confined to the waterline band. It is much cheaper than a full retile and takes far less time.
Typically two to four weeks depending on size and how much shell repair is needed. Tanking cure and testing account for several of those days.
Mosaic lasts longer, looks better and costs more. Quartz plaster is quicker and cheaper but has a shorter life and shows staining more readily in hard water.
Usually water getting behind the finish through failed waterproofing or grout, then freeze-free but constant expansion cycles pushing tiles off. Chemistry and scale accelerate it.
If the finish is being fully stripped, yes. The old membrane is damaged during removal and cannot be verified, so retiling over it is a false economy.
Retile the pool.
Send photos of the waterline and any loose tiles and we will arrange an inspection.
