Artificial grass lawn in a villa garden with planting borders

Artificial grass, installed on a base that lasts.

Artificial grass Dubai installation is a groundworks job — the base, drainage and edge fixing decide whether it stays flat or ripples within a year.

Outdoor Living · Lawns

The turf is the easy part

Almost every artificial lawn that fails does so for the same reasons: a soft base, no drainage, and edges that were never mechanically fixed. Two summers later there are ripples, sunken patches and lifted corners.

We build a compacted, free-draining base with the correct falls, fix the perimeter properly, join with adhesive seams rather than tape alone, and infill to hold the pile upright. Turf quality then decides how it looks and feels — pile height, density, colour blend and UV stabilisation all matter in this sun.

What installation includes

Supply and full installation, or installation of turf you have sourced.

Excavation and base

Removal of existing surface, excavation and a compacted free-draining aggregate base laid to fall.

Drainage

Permeable build-up, and drainage connections where the ground or terrace does not drain naturally.

Weed membrane

Geotextile beneath the base to stop growth pushing through the backing.

Turf supply

UV-stabilised turf in a range of pile heights and colour blends, chosen for the use and the exposure.

Seaming and edging

Adhesive seams, perimeter fixing to timber or masonry edges, and clean junctions into paving and planting.

Infill and brushing

Silica sand infill to weigh down and support the pile, then power brushing to finish.

Shock pad option

Underlay for children's play areas where fall protection or extra softness is wanted.

Pet and roof applications

Free-draining specifications for pet areas, and lightweight build-ups for roof terraces and balconies.

Dubai villa garden with artificial lawn and shade

Artificial grass in Dubai heat

The climate is exactly why people choose it here, and also its main limitation.

Surface heat

In direct sun artificial grass gets much hotter than natural lawn. Shade, lighter blends and a rinse before use make it usable.

UV stability

Cheap turf fades and turns brittle within a couple of years here. UV-stabilised fibre is not optional.

Drainage after rain

Short heavy rainfall needs somewhere to go. A permeable base and fall prevent puddling and odour.

Pets and hygiene

Pet areas need free-draining infill and periodic rinsing; antimicrobial infill options exist where dogs use the lawn daily.
