Floor screeding Dubai is the work nobody sees and every finished floor depends on — flat, sound, dry and laid to the right level before anything goes on top.

The layer that decides whether the finish survives

Hollow tiles, lipping planks, rocking large formats and showers that pond water all come back to the same thing: the substrate. Getting it flat, sound, dry and at the right level costs a fraction of relaying a finished floor.

We survey the existing slab, decide between a latex levelling compound and a full sand-cement screed, and set the build-up so the finished floor lands where doors, thresholds and drainage need it. In wet areas we lay to fall so water reaches the drain rather than sitting in a corner.

Concrete construction and residual moisture are the two constants.

Slab tolerance

Slabs here are frequently out of tolerance for large-format tiles or timber. Levelling is the norm, not the exception.

Residual moisture

Newer buildings can hold slab moisture for months. Laying vinyl or timber over it causes failure later.

Falls in wet areas

Original bathroom falls are often wrong, which is why water ponds. Re-screeding corrects it during renovation.

Drying time

Screeds need genuine cure time before the finish goes down. It is built into the programme rather than compressed.
