Two seasons, two problems
Dubai pools have opposite problems six months apart. From roughly December to February the water is too cold to enjoy without heating; from June to September it can exceed body temperature and offers no relief at all. Both are solved by the same class of equipment.
A reversible heat pump heats in winter and cools in summer, which is why most villas here fit one unit rather than two. Sizing follows pool volume, surface area and how quickly you want the temperature to respond — an undersized unit simply runs continuously and never catches up.
